The S1 Ilmu Hukum Study Programme at UNISSULA's Faculty of Law is committed to becoming an excellent, modern centre of legal education grounded in Islamic values.
Graduate Profile
A graduate of the Undergraduate Programme in Legal Studies is a Bachelor of Laws who is devout and of noble character, able to work as a legal practitioner (advocate, legal consultant, legal staff), a public official, or a legal academic — globally oriented, and able to adapt to a changing environment and to advances in science and technology.
Four graduate profiles
The roles the programme prepares its graduates for, as set out in the curriculum document. Each carries its own code, used throughout the curriculum to trace which courses serve which profile.
Legal Practitioner
Commands legal science and demonstrates professional competence in legal practice through legal drafting, contract drafting, legal aid, advocacy, mediation, negotiation, and dispute resolution both in and outside the courts, for corporate, individual, and public clients — upholding justice, professional ethics, and the values of Khaira Ummah.
Legal Consultant
Commands legal science and delivers strategic legal solutions through legal advice, legal opinions, regulatory compliance, legal risk analysis, and comprehensive drafting for corporate and individual clients — making use of information technology and digital legal innovation, and upholding integrity, social responsibility, and the values of Khaira Ummah.
Public Official
Commands legal science and serves as a professional public officer: drafting legislation and public policy, carrying out the functions of government, and delivering accountable public services on the principles of good governance, constitutional values, and ethical leadership consistent with the values of Khaira Ummah.
Legal Academician
Commands legal science and contributes to its development through critical legal thought, normative and empirical legal research, scholarly publication, community service, and legal education — upholding academic integrity, innovation, and the values of Khaira Ummah.

Formulated against level 6 of the Indonesian Qualifications Framework (KKNI) for bachelor's programmes. Every course in the curriculum is mapped to one or more of these outcomes.
