History of the Faculty of Law UNISSULA
The Faculty of Law of Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (FH UNISSULA) was born in 1963 as the Faculty of Law and Social Knowledge (FHPM), a year after the Sultan Agung Waqf Foundation established the university on 20 May 1962. From the outset, FH UNISSULA has been committed to developing legal scholarship that is not only academically excellent but also grounded in Islamic values and oriented towards the public good. Over more than six decades it has produced thousands of law graduates working across the professions, nationally and internationally. Backed by professional lecturers, a relevant curriculum, and adequate facilities, FH UNISSULA continues to innovate towards becoming a leading, globally competitive faculty of law.

To become an excellent and internationally competitive Bachelor of Law Study Programme, producing law graduates who master, analyse, and apply modern legal science grounded in Islamic values — adaptive to the development of science and technology, and shaped by the Khaira Ummah character through Islamic Academic Culture (BUDAI).
